‘Desperate Housewives’ star Eva Longoria has moved on from her divorce and is now reportedly dating good friend, actress Penelope Cruz’s younger brother Eduardo Cruz.

Just over a week after her divorce from basketball star Tony Parker was finalised, the actress enjoyed a romantic weekend with the 25-year-old Spanish crooner.

The pair were spotted aboard a luxury cruiser in Miami over the weekend, where a Super Bowl viewing party was hosted by her friend, cosmetics mogul Loren Ridinger, reported a magazine.

The 35-year-actress first sparked rumours of a new young lover when she was spotted with Eduardo at her Los Angeles restaurant Beso in October.

Eduardo was seen leaving Longoria’s home on Christmas Eve, and then they were seen enjoying a flamenco dance troupe in January.

Her publicist played down rumours of a romance at the time, saying that they are “just friends” and that “Eva does not have a boyfriend”.

Longoria split from Parker in November amid allegations that the ‘San Antonio Spurs’ basketballer had cheated on her with his team mate’s wife.

Actress Eva Longoria Parker has raised $568,440 in a celebrity Twitter auction for disabled children in Haiti.

Parker spearheaded the auction on the social networking site. The 35-year-old offered to follow fans on Twitter and arrange one-of-a-kind meetings for the winning bidders who donated money throughout last week.

The funds raised from the auction event will go to www.ahomeinhaiti.org and will be used to rebuild The Miriam Center, which cares for children suffering from autism and cerebral palsy.

Actress Rachel Bilson has vowed never to strip for films.

The former O.C. star claims several directors have wanted her to appear naked in their films, but she has remained “strong-willed” and refused to take her clothes off.

“They like to put in nudity wherever they can. But I’m pretty strong-willed and believe it can be avoided,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Bilson as saying.

The 29-year-old actress says it is more awkward to shoot love scenes with a boyfriend than an actor you don’t know.

“The thinnest I’ve ever been was after I had my appendix out, during the London run of The Seagull. I went down to 112 pounds and realized my brain doesn’t work when I’m that thin, so I can’t do my job,” the actress told the magazine.

The 25-year-old actress who is dating Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is a fan of the TV musical Glee but says that she is still not famous enough to land a cameo. “I want to be in Glee, but I’m told I’m not famous enough to be a cameo yet,” she said.

As for her much talked about fashion sense, Mulligan said that she refuses to wear anything “above the knee, tight, girly, or ridiculous.”

HAYDEN PANETTIERE celebrated her 21st birthday all over again on Friday (27Aug10) – partying with pals in New York.

The actress reached the milestone on 21 August (10) and marked the occasion with a spectacular bash on the Detroit, Michigan set of her new movie Scream 4 – complete with fireworks and a three-foot dolphin birthday cake.

But Panettiere wasn’t satisfied with the festivities and jetted back to her native New York this weekend so she could enjoy a more low-key birthday bash with old friends.

The star was spotted feasting on tacos and burritos and downing cheap cocktails and shots with eight pals at Mexican restaurant Blockheads in Manhattan on Friday night.

A fellow diner tells WENN, “It wasn’t a very showbizzy gathering and Blockheads isn’t exactly a celebrity hang-out. But Hayden looked like she was having a great time. The party was pretty rowdy, with lots of laughing and joking. But nobody minded. She was even treated to a rendition of Happy Birthday by all the waiters, who brought her out some cake. Everyone in the restaurant joined in.”

There was one conspicuous absentee – Panettiere’s giant boxer beau Wladimir Klitschko. The onlooker adds, “She did look like she was missing her boyfriend. She was on her iPhone every five minutes, checking for messages from him.”

The Desperate Housewives star insists she relies on best pal Victoria for advice.

“Victoria’s a lovely woman. Both our husbands are sports stars and they both travel, and Victoria’s had some great advice for me on how to cope with that,” mirror.co.uk quoted her as saying.

“She’s a great mother, too. If you ever see her around her kids, you’ll see that everything – everything – is about them and David. She’s a good role model. I really want my marriage to be like hers,” she added.

Kate Gosselin’s elimination from Dancing with the Stars did not mark the end of her reality TV career. It’s official: TLC is bringing back Kate Plus 8.

It’s a go at the network after the local Department of Labor says the eight children have been cleared to continue their careers as reality TV stars.

This despite the objections of her own brother, Jon Gosselin and millions of us across America who are just plain sick of her. Stick it to ‘em, Kate!

A rep for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry says the correct paperwork for the show was submitted and approved … and said:

“The proper steps have been taken and the kids are permitted for Kate Plus 8.” Thank goodness. And tough luck, Jon. How’s your career going?
As for Kate’s other TLC spin-off (yes, there are two proposed Kate Gosselin shows in the works), tentatively titled Twist of Kate, no paperwork has been filed.

Without the Department of Labor signing off, you can bet that TLC won’t push its luck. So this may indicate that the children may not be joining her there.

While Kate Gosselin will almost assuredly lose “Dancing with the Stars,” she’s just been awarded two more TV gigs.

TLC announced today the single mother of eight will star in two shows this summer – “Twist of Kate,” and “Kate Plus 8.”

In “Twist of Kate,” Gosselin will take fan letters she’s received, and then go to the homes and workplaces of women facing their own sets of challenges.

She said, “I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything.”

The 12-episode show airs later this summer.

And “Kate Plus 8,” as the title suggests, will focus on Gosselin raising her eight children as a single mom.

That show will premiere in June.

Just this week, ex-husband Jon Gosselin sued for custody of their eight kids.

Nicollette Sheridan alleges the show’s creator hit her in the face on the set and that she was then fired in retaliation for complaining about him, “resulting in her losing millions in future earnings,” says the suit filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Sheridan, whose character was killed off the show last year, is suing for $20 million, alleging assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. She claims series creator Marc Cherry created a hostile work environment, “behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner.”

Sheridan, a Golden Globe nominee who played sexy realtor Edie Britt, claims that Cherry directed his abuse at other cast and crew members, even at star Teri Hatcher after she went above his head to ABC executives.

“I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies,” Cherry told Sheridan, according to the lawsuit.
ABC Studios says in a statement: “While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit.”

Sheridan, whose contract called for her to earn $175,000 an episode going up to $250,000 in later years, claimed that in the summer of 2008 she tried to meet privately with Cherry “in an effort to discuss his negative demeanor toward her and to discuss whether he had a problem with her work,” the lawsuit says.

Cherry told her he didn’t have a problem with her and apologized, only to lash out at her again, behaving in a “rude and degrading manner,” leading up to a clash on the set during a September 24, 2008, rehearsal, the lawsuit claims.

“When Sheridan questioned Cherry about something that was in the script, Cherry took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head,” the lawsuit says.

Is this a case of grapes gone sour? Would all the other cast members of the show tolerate the same treatment?
