It’s D-Day — as in Delivery Day — for Gwen Stefani! The singer checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is scheduled to give birth via C-section at 10 a.m. PT. This will be the second child for Gwen, 38, and her husbandGavin Rossdale—and it’s in the same hospital where she gave birth to son Kingston, 2. “Gwen’s so excited to have this baby because she gained a lot of weight during this pregnancy,” her pal reveals to In Touch. “She is ready to meet her new baby and get her body back.”

Singer GWEN STEFANI blames her obsession with diets on her mother.

The svelte pop star, 37, has struggled with her weight since childhood - and admits the pressure to stay thin stems from her family. She says, “My grandmother was one of those really obese women and I think that frightened my mum.

I’ve always been on a diet, ever since I was in the sixth grade. “It was out of my mother’s love for me. But I don’t know if it’s good for a kid to be concerned (with their weight) so early.”

Gwen Stefani (37) finds pregnancy romantic. She has no mixed feelings about one thing: producing a sibling for her one-year-old son Kingston.

“Obviously, I’m in a race to have another, but I don’t want to do it while on tour,” says the singer. “But I can’t wait to get pregnant again. It’s so much fun, consuming and romantic.”

Being a mom already, she admits, “I definitely don’t get enough sleep, but I’d rather spend time with him. I’ve got this extra-fun, amazing, little guy who just wants to hang out with me.”

Before she hits the stage while on tour, Stefani sings Kingston lullabies like Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star as he falls asleep.

“But he sings a lot to himself,” she says.

“He’s just getting into music. He does the whole head-bouncing thing.”
