Singer Beyonce Knowles has wed rapper boyfriend Jay-Z in New York, the People magazine has reported.

Although nothing has been officially confirmed, the People quotes a friend of the couple as saying: “It happened earlier this evening [Friday]. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family.”

Guests included Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, her father and manager Mathew, her sister Solange, Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and friend Gwyneth Paltrow, it said.

According to the article, the ceremony was followed by a party at Jay-Z’s apartment in Manhattan’s Tribeca district.

Rumours about the couple’s impending nuptials were sparked when they sought a marriage licence at a village hall in Scarsdale, New York, on Tuesday.

On Friday, workers erected a white tent on top of the building in Tribeca where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment.

And as waiting staff, flowers and music equipment arrived the wedding buzz intensified.

The two have been together since September 2002, and they performed together in music videos for two of her hit singles, Crazy in Love and Deja Vu.

Pop singer Beyonce Knowles laughs off reports claiming she accidentally flashed her breasts during a wardrobe malfunction in Toronto, Canada last week.

Earlier reports claimed that the singer cut her leg during the fall, forcing her to sit down for one song, but her publicists insisted Beyonce was unhurt.

Meanwhile, Beyonce revealed she and her manager father Mathew Knowles used to argue “all the time” back when she was in Destiny’s Child, but now they prefer to talk things out. She told Vibe magazine; “Me and my dad go at it. People would be very surprised.
We don’t do it too much, because I’m an adult and he’s respectful of that.
But during the time when I was becoming an adult and I was trying to, you know, claim my independence, we went at it all the time. We had our moments.
But it’s way more powerful to not curse.

Beyonce Knowles is about to shock her fans after appearing on the cover of gay magazine Instinct.
The beautiful singer/actress had agreed to do her first national gay interview with the magazine to promote her new movie “Dreamgirls”.

In the article she confessed that her uncle was the one who made her turn her back on sterotyping and embrace everyone’s chosen sexuality.

Beyonce also makes it clear her strict religious unbringing had never made her turn against those who were homosexual even though the church’s opinion tends to be different.

She said; “I was raised by my uncle who passed away with AIDS a couple of years ago. He was my mother’s best friend. He brought me to school every day. He helped me buy my prom dress. He made my clothes with my mother. He was like my nanny. He was my favorite person in the whole world. I never mixed Christianity with how I felt (about him). I am about faith and spirituality more so than religion. Doing right by others and not judging.”

The sexy star claims she would have no problems if one day a future son of her’s revealed to her that they were gay.

The document (a portion of which is below) shows that a Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born to a Mathew Knowles and Celestine Ann Beyonce on September 4th, 1974. If this document is accurate, that would mean that Beyonce is actually 32 years old.

Beyonce’s official biography claims that she was born on September 4th, 1981. It also claims that her mothers maiden name is “Beyince”, and not “Beyonce” as the below document shows.
