TOM CRUISE has sparked outrage in the U.S. after accusing government officials of lying to the public in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

In new video footage promoting Scientology, the actor blasts the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for endangering the health of emergency service staff at ground zero. He says, “The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) came out and said the air was clean. Of course as a Scientologist you go, ‘That’s a lie.’ You just go, ‘Liar.’ “Finally you say, dammit, just go there and do it. Put it there, let’s go, here’s the money, let’s go. Let’s just get one person treated. I can’t sleep another night.”

The Mission Impossible star provided emergency service staff with detoxification therapy based upon the works of Scientology found L. Ron Hubbard following the attack in 2001. But Dr Kerry Kelly, the senior medical officer for the New York Fire Department, says, “It’s hard to have faith in it (Scientology rehabilitation therapy). You just stay there until you feel fine.”

A book documenting the life of Hollywood actor Tom Cruise will not be published in the U.K. - because it isn’t very interesting. British author Andrew Morton hired researchers and a private investigator to help him with his two-year-long research for the book - but British publishers feel the expose is not nearly as sensational as his best-selling tome on Diana, Princess of Wales and have decided not to print it.

A source tells Britain’s Daily Mail, “Morton hasn’t unearthed anything sensational about Cruise that would make the book a blockbuster .” The project will be sold in the U.S. in January next year (08).

Nicole Kidman has sensationally revealed the biggest secret during her nine-year marriage to TOM CRUISE - she miscarried a child. The tragedy has become the subject of much speculation in recent years, and now Kidman is revealing all in a stunning new Vanity Fair interview.

She recalls, “From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. “We lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that’s when we would adopt (daughter) Bella.”

When asked to talk about her ill-fated pregnancy, the Australian actress adds, “There’s a complicated background to that, given that I never speak much about many things. TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES sleep in separate bedrooms because the heartthrob actor snores loudly, according to reports.

A source quoted in U.S. magazine Star claims the couple struck up the arrangement so Holmes can get a peaceful night’s sleep. The insider says, “It’s a situation that works for both of them.

“In fact, they even joke about having separate bedrooms to their friends - Katie says Tom snores, and this way she can get her beauty sleep! “Of course they spend time together alone at night like most married couples; after all, they conceived Suri!”

It’s no secret that ever since David and Victoria Beckham hit the runway at LA, there has been a serious media circus. And in order to cope with the higher level of craziness, Becks has turned to veteran celebrity Tom Cruise.

The Valkyrie actor has reportedly come to Becks’s aid in order to help him deal with the “over the top” US media. “There are striking similarities between Tom and David. He’s definitely been coached,” said one insider.

“David’s performance was so slick and assured, it’s clear the advice from Tom has been rubbing off. David has always been quite shy in front of the cameras.”
The source continued, “While wife Victoria could turn on the charm, David always looked uncomfortable with that side of fame and preferred to do his talking on the pitch.
“But Tom’s being drumming into him that Americans expect their stars to be able to be all-singing, all-dancing.”
In the end, it’s clear that the advice from Cruise has helped the LA Galaxy star considerably.

Actors Tom Cruise and Will Smith are to host a celebrity-packed “Welcome to America” party tomorrow to give the Beckhams a proper welcome to Los Angeles.
Football star David and his wife Victoria recently arrived in the city and David has yet to make his debut for his new club LA Galaxy.
But the couple have become good friends with both Cruise and Smith, who have decided to put on an exclusive welcome bash at the city’s Museum of Contemporary Arts.
Among the star-studded guest list is some of the cream of the Hollywood A-list, including actors George Clooney, Jim Carrey, Steven Spielberg, and Oprah Winfrey.
A source says invitations were printed on red velvet with “tacky” gold.
The Beckhams, meanwhile, visited Cruise and Katie Holmes on Wednesday night. This was the first time the two families met up since the Beckhams moved to LA.

According to The Sun, a source said, “Katie and Tom Cruise are thrilled to be having another baby on the way. She’s glowing with happiness.”

Holmes has certainly made her intention expand her family very clear. Earlier this month, the Batman Begins actress said she was desperate to have a brother or sister for her 14-month-old daughter Suri and stepchildren Isabella and Connor. She said, “Yeah, definitely (we want more children). We have so many kids in our house, there’s always this wonderful chatter and the great noise of kids. He’s a great father and so it came as no shock that when we had Suri he was amazing with the baby.”
