The rift between Lindsay Lohan and her father has widened after she labelled him a “public embarrassment”.

Michael Lohan, who has been estranged from his daughter for several years, recently told reporters that he thought Lohan’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson was taking advantage of her.

In an blog post on her MySpace page entitled Drug Free, Lohan, 22, said she was “hurt”.

“If you have something to say to me, say it to my face - that’s what I have believed my whole life - don’t be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world,” the actress and singer, who labelled her father as fame-addicted, said:

“He has become a public embarrassment and a bully: to my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me.

“Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.”

In a blog post on her own MySpace page, British DJ Ronson said Michael Lohan was “desperate for attention”.

“I know I am being used, I am just a pawn - easy to sacrifice in order to feed his addiction,” she wrote.

“I was angry when I first read his attack on me, but, for me, I believe that actions speak louder than words… so now I just pity him.

“I am not standing in his way, I am not the reason that he has no contact with his daughter – he is.”

A source tells Eonline, “She’s certainly telling friends she’s planning to write a book. It’s supposed to be about her, allegedly. But come on, you know Lindsay will be all over that book. She’s the only one people want to read about.”
And the rumours have infuriated Lohan’s father, who claims the DJ is just using his daughter to get her own slice of fame.
He says, “I’ve shut up about this long enough. She’s using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some Los Angeles DJ. And now she’s writing a book? I am at (my) wit’s end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay’s best interest.
“Let’s just say I hope Lindsay starts opening her eyes and realises who the people using her are.”

Lindsay Lohan is about to see dead people. The 21-year-old actress will soon be working at a morgue as part of her punishment for misdemeanor drunken driving, her attorney, Blair Berk, told a judge Thursday 

She has also spent two months in rehabilitation and has done some community service, Berk said at a hearing on her progress toward fulfilling the terms of her plea bargain.

Her two four-hour days at the morgue are part of a court-ordered program to show drivers the real-life consequences of drinking and driving. She must also spend two days working in a hospital emergency room.

Lohan was arrested twice last year on DUI charges and pleaded guilty in August to misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges. She has already served 84 minutes in jail as part of the plea deal.

Lohan was not required to appear at Thursday’s hearing.

Hollywood actress LINDSAY LOHAN is taking lessons to turn herself into a human magnet. The actress has hired a Romanian man, Aurel Raileanu, to fly to Los Angeles to teach her to lift metallic objects using the power of her mind.

Lohan, 21, says, “I’ve always been interested in off-the-wall abilities. And this is a really interesting phenomenon. “I’d love to find out more about it and try and pinpoint what causes these supernatural abilities.”

Lindsay Lohan has dismissed claims that she was the cause of a marriage break-up as simply “rumours”.

The 21-year-old actress has denied having a relationship with Tony Allen, lead singer in the rock band Dead Stays Alive, while at the Cirque Lodge rehabilitation centre in Utah.

Speculation that the pair had become close was sparked after Allen’s wife, Stephanie, launched divorce proceedings last month.

She told In Touch magazine: “Rumours are rumours. I don’t really have anything to say about that,

“Tony and I were just friends and if anyone has anything negative to say, I would just like to ask, ‘Why?”

Lohan, who left rehab on Friday (October 5th) after a two-month stint, revealed that she is already dating a mystery man called Riley who is thought to be the snowboarder Riley Giles.

“Yes, I am seeing someone. I am really happy and taking it day by day.”

Tony and I were just friends and if anyone has anything negative to say, I would just like to ask, ‘Why?’ “We were just friends and that was it.” Lohan has also been linked to Sonny Bono’s teenage son, Chesare.

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly checked out of a Utah rehab clinic a month after confessing to drug and alcohol addictions.

The troubled Hollywood actress left the Cirque Lodge Treatment Centre yesterday after spending most of August completing a rehabilitation programme, People reported.

“Lindsay is done,” a source told the US magazine.

“But she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay.”

The 21-year-old’s mother Diana told People that she was “proud” of her daughter.

“She’s moving ahead with her life,” she said. “Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal.”

Lohan’s father Michael, with whom she was recently reconciled, was photographed leaving the Cirque Lodge with his daughter’s suitcases yesterday.

“Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best,” he told People.

Lohan, who starred in films such as Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Bobby, was arrested earlier this summer on suspicion of drunken driving, with Los Angeles police finding a small amount of cocaine on her person.

She later entered a plea bargain admitting her addiction to drugs and alcohol.

Lindsay Lohan is dancing her way back to good health - the actress enjoyed regular tango lessons during her recent stay in rehab.

The 21-year-old started learning how to tango before checking into rehab in Utah in July (07), and her Los Angeles-based dance teacher regularly flew in to keep her on her toes during her stay.

Tango coach Gloria Otero tells InTouch Weekly magazine, “I have been going to Utah for the past three weeks. We practice on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s been really good working with her… She has become a great dancer.” Lohan reportedly left rehab on Friday (05Oct07).

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly failed another drug test which means she is not going to be released from rehab.

The troubled actress, who has been at Utah’s Cirque Lodge for the past two months seeking treatment for her drug and alcohol addictions, had reportedly finished her programme last week however its being said she was forced to stay after testing positive for cocaine.

Insiders also claim she has been drinking alcohol and mixing diet pills with prescription anti-anxiety medication in order to get high.

A source revealed to Australia’s New Weekly magazine; “I think she’ll take whatever pills they allow her. It’s obvious to me she’s high because she acts loopy and can’t seem to walk in a straight line!”

Another insider revealed; “She had a friend sneak vodka in a water bottle into one of the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings she goes to. Everyone wants her to be their friend, so they’ll do anything for her.

She smells like booze, and the staff do nothing about it.

I asked her if she had any intention of being sober and she looked at me like I was crazy. She’s still doing whatever she wants.”

Meanwhile, according to Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, the young actress is going to quit Hollywood in a bid to stay clean.

He said; When we finally came face to face we just clung on to each other and did not stop crying for at least half an hour.

Lindsay said, ‘Daddy, I have done some terrible things and been addicted to drugs but please believe me I will never do drugs again.

I hate Hollywood and I don’t want to work there. I need a break and I am moving away. I will stop hanging around with the people that are bad for me.’

She said she does not want to live in Hollywood as that is where the evil in her life happens.”

Lindsay Lohan will be spending five days of “quality time” with her father MICHAEL next week (begs01Oct07) - in a secret location away from her Utah rehabilitation clinic, according to reports. The Mean Girls actress, 21, checked into the Cirque Lodge in Utah in early August (07) to seek counselling following two drink drive charges earlier this year (07).

Her mother Dina recently insisted the star’s third stint in rehab will not be coming to an end any time soon, despite reports to the contrary, and now ex-convict Michael says he will be whisking Lindsay away as part of the rehab centre’s out-patient therapy programme. He tells the New York Daily News, “I’m looking forward to spending the next week with her. We’ve been in constant phone contact. She’s in a great, great place now. I’ve never heard her so honest, contrite and focused. “Lindsay is weeding out all the bad. She’s taking a step back and reevaluating her life. What she tells - her honesty and openness - has brought me to tears.

It’s beyond words how proud I am of her.” And Michael - who has become an ordained minister since being released from jail in March (07) - hopes his visit will encourage Lindsay to kick her drug and alcohol addictions completely, because of his own experiences with illegal substances. A source says, “They believe Michael’s the best person for Lindsay to be with now. “Not only is he her dad - someone with her best interests at heart - but he’s also someone who successfully turned his own life around after battling substance abuse.”
