Katie Holmes confessed her parent’s would have “locked her in the basement” if she had become a rebellious teenager.

The beautiful actress, who has a two-year-old daughter Suri with husband Tom Cruise, claims her parents were very strict when she was growing up and admits her parents would not have been happy if she began drinking alcohol and dating boys.

She said; “I was quite shy at parties and I always had an early curfew. It was kind of like, ‘Oh, hey, the party is starting, I’ve got to go.’

But I had fun in high school. I did go to parties, I went to football games, the movies and I went to all the dances.

I wasn’t the one who was bringing kegs of beer though. I wouldn’t be sitting here today if I did that, that’s for sure, because I would be locked up in the basement still. My parents would have done something to me.”

Katie also revealed she found it difficult to meet boys because her father Martin hated when she had boyfriends.

She told Britain’s OK! magazine; “My dad always tried to intimidate boys because he is quite tall. So I always dated very nice boys and got home early!”

Meanwhile, Katie has become extremely fond with her husband Tom Cruise’s jeans that she can’t seem to stop wearing them.

The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star has been spotted recently wearing Tom’s jeans with various T-shirts while she’s in New York rehearsing for her upcoming Broadway debut in Arthur Miller’s play ‘All My Sons’.

A source close to Katie revealed; “It’s the new look Katie is going for.”

The Hollywood couple’s stylist Jeanne Yang has also confirmed Katie has been wearing the jeans and a representative for Prps revealed the beauties unique sense of style has inspired them to start up a women’s range of denim for the fall season.

Representaitve Kim Dillard for the clothing company said; “Prps has adapted the style for women in the new fall collection as the Boyfriend jean.”

TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES sleep in separate bedrooms because the heartthrob actor snores loudly, according to reports.

A source quoted in U.S. magazine Star claims the couple struck up the arrangement so Holmes can get a peaceful night’s sleep. The insider says, “It’s a situation that works for both of them.

“In fact, they even joke about having separate bedrooms to their friends – Katie says Tom snores, and this way she can get her beauty sleep! “Of course they spend time together alone at night like most married couples; after all, they conceived Suri!”

Actress Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri were denied access to the opening party of Berlin Fashion Week in Germany on Thursday.
Tom Cruise’s wife and daughter, who are in the city while the movie star shoots for the controversial new film Valkyrie, were reportedly turned away from the party, thrown by designer Hugo Boss, because the guest list was closed and there were already too many people inside the event.
But Holmes wasn’t about the let the snub ruin her day. She spent the afternoon with her one-year-old daughter in a nearby park. A bystander said, “She was all smiles. You would never have thought she had just been turned away from a party. I’m sure someone will lose their job over that decision.”
And from the way Holmes reacted, it looks like Victoria Beckham was right in her recent praise of the actress.
In a recent interview, Posh insisted that Tom and Katie are “wonderful” people who have been hugely supportive of the Beckhams’ move to Los Angeles.
She said, “They are genuinely lovely people. They are a wonderful family.”
And Posh even singled out Holmes for her unwavering friendship during her recent home upheaval, adding, “She’s a very strong, sweet, lovely girl. She’s helped me so much with the move. She’s genuinely a nice girl.”

Holmes has certainly made her intention expand her family very clear.
