Actor Jude Law has thanked a British newspaper for exposing him as a lying, cheating love rat – because it helped him realise his mistakes and change his ways.

The 34-year-old Alfie star, who was caught indulging in group sex while married to actress/designer Sadie Frost, and later exposed cheating on fiancee Sienna Miller with his children’s nanny, says he is “happy” to have been exposed on such a public level. Law says, “I’m not happy I hurt people, but I’m kind of happy it was on such a public level. “In a way it was like washing your laundry in public and, yep, there you go, you’ve seen my underwear, you’ve seen all my rubbish, you’ve seen me putting out the trash. And now I feel like there’s nothing left, you’ve seen it all and I can get on. “In a weird way, that’s kind of wonderful. “I was an idiot. I behaved badly. I made mistakes. Who hasn’t? “It all came out and I took it on the chin. I also like to think of that because of the scale on which I had to admit to them, I learnt my lesson.”

Jude Law (34) has been arrested after allegedly attacking a photographer outside his London home.

Jude is said to have attempted to grab the snapper’s camera in the alleged incident yesterday.

Law was bailed to return to a London police station in October.
A police spokesman said, “A 34-year-old man from Maida Vale was arrested yesterday on suspicion of actual bodily harm after voluntarily attending a London police station.”

“The arrest followed an allegation of assault yesterday at a residential address in Maida Vale,” he added.

Jude Law was romantically linked with Cameron Diaz after they were spotted sharing dinner together in Beverley Hills.But friends of Jude said that the star has been trying to woo Cameron for a number of months, but she declined dinner dates with him, as she was still getting over her relationship with Justin Timberlake.“They’re flirty together, but she kept turning him down. However, she did it so playfully that he never gave up,” said a source.
