The London Paper reports that singer James Blunt once put his younger sister, Emily, on eBay. In a round about way, at least.
After transport strikes stopped Em from getting to a funeral in Ireland, James decided to step in.
The paper quotes him as saying, “I was waiting for my first album to come out and ended up selling pretty much everything I owned on eBay.
“I had a mild addiction.”

Enter Em’s dilemma. After James found her in tears due to her dilemma, he turned to eBay. He said, “I ended up whacking it on eBay: ‘Damsel in distress seeks knight in shining armour. Desperate to get to a funeral in southern Ireland, please help’.”

Millionaire Guy Harrison apparently responded and whisked Em off to Ireland in his helicopter. And in a happily-ever-after twist, Em is said to be tying the knot with Guy next month.
