Kate Hudson revealed her son is stunned when he sees her on the TV.

The beautiful actress says that her three-year-old son Ryder, whom she had with former husband Chris Robinson of the band the Black Crowes, gets really excited when he sees her on TV because he’s not aware that she is a big movie star.

Kate revealed to People magazine; “Every once in a while, he will go, ‘Oh my God, mommy, you’re on TV, you’re on TV!’

I don’t think he has any understanding of it. I think he’s aware that it’s mommy’s job.”

Kate also admitted her son has become interested in acting saying; “I watch my son when he goes on set, and he watches what we do. You can’t help but be interested in what everybody is doing.”

Kate, who grew up in the industry because of her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell, insists she doesn’t feel any different from her friends.

She said; People ask me about my parents and growing up. I don’t ever remember a defining moment where I understood what my parents did. It was their job, like anybody.”

Meanwhile, new reports are claiming Kate had split from boyfriend Dax Shepard but apparently didn’t let him know the relationship was over.

A source told OK! magazine; “Dax got a phone call about it from a friend. He’s upset that she didn’t bother to say anything to him.”

However just recently Kate and Dax were shocking people working out in a gym by enjoying steamy kissing sessions between workouts.

An onlooker revealed to Irish newspaper the Sunday World; “In between sets they would make out.

She was on one side of the bench and he was on the other and everytime she’d finish a set they’d have these long, long make-out sessions.

If anyone else was doing it I think someone would have asked them to stop.”
