Actress LAURA DERN has ruled out going under the surgeon’s knife – because wrinkles and natural ageing will help her land more challenging roles.
The 40-year-old Jurassic Park star is convinced ageing gracefully will give her a wider range of parts to choose from, as there aren’t many old ladies in Hollywood.
She says, “I’ll finally get the parts I was never old enough to play – damaged complicated women. “As I get older I think it is going to be easier. There may not be anybody else who looks 60 when I get there, so I figure I will be cornering the market in old ladies, because everyone else is going to look 32.”
