Keira Knightley refuses to put her clothes on, wants to be naked.
Keira Knightley is revealing she refuses to keep her clothes on in movies.
The beautiful actress, who can be seen wearing hardly anything as she emerges from a pond soaking wet in see-through underwear in her new film ‘Atonement’, believes that nudity is important in acting.
She revealed to Britain’s The Times newspaper; “If I wasn’t prepared to take my clothes off on screen there would be a whole area of my job that I couldn’t explore. And I can’t sacrifice my job because of that.
If I didn’t do that scene then maybe my life would be easier. There are plenty of actresses, and certainly a lot of American actresses, who wouldn’t have done this part because of that.
But I was passionate about it, and had to do it no matter what it demanded.”
Keira also believes that Hollywood is sexist because there appears to be so much more focus on women’s bodies then there is on men’s.
She said; “I do think that we live with sexism. I think that that’s very obvious. It’s a huge issue. But I’m just not going to go into my usual rant about it.”
Meanwhile, Keira claims she won’t be getting married because no ceremony will be able to match her on-screen weddings.
The young star said; “I’ve been married five times in films, had three children and countless proposals.
So I think that’s about enough really.
Also I don’t know how I’d top the wedding I had in Love Actually because it was pretty impressive.”
Keira, who is currently dating Rupert Friend, was quoted by Britain’s Sun Newspaper saying; “I don’t want to get married in the foreseeable future.”
