Veteran actress JOAN COLLINS is desperate for screen beauty ANNE HATHAWAY to play her in a forthcoming biopic.

The 74-year-old veteran star insists The Devil Wears Prada actress is the perfect woman to portray her life story, as she believes Hathaway is versatile enough to depict her through the ages.

She says, “To be in my life story, she’d have to go from 17 up to 103.”
