Helen Mirren vows to keep on stripping.
Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren has pledged to continue stripping off — both on and off screen. The Queen star (62) — famous for disrobing in Calendar Girls and Caligula — has no plans to grow old gracefully and cover up in the future.
She says, “I am a nudist at heart. I have been on many nudist beaches. It is amazing how quickly feelings of self-consciousness disappear. Of course, it only works if everyone else is naked. I have never said ‘never again’ to nudity and I am not going to.”
In fact, she is so comfortable stripping that in her autobiography, In The Frame, she says, “Stripping for the camera is as easy as drinking a glass of orange juice on set.”
