Cher toes the line
Cher’s bizarre makeovers have always made news and this time it’s been reported that the 61-year-old pop star has been hobbling around in her California home with her foot in a plaster.
Now, before you get any ideas of a makeover you can’t seem to comprehend. It so happens that Cher has fallen down a concrete staircase and is reportedly nursing three broken toes after the tumble, reveal reports from the US.
A source told American tabloid the Globe, “She was in agony and is still in a lot of pain.”
Cher, whose real name is Cheryl Sarkisan La Pierre, has been in the entertainment industry for over 40 years after her 1965 smash hit I Got You Babe with Sonny Bono.
However, since she conducted a farewell tour, which lasted nearly three years and included around 273 shows.
She has taken a step back from performing and headed back to the studio to work on her 26th album.
Although there is no release date as of now, it may tie in with her rumoured return to the stage in 2008 with a slot at the Caesar’s Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas.
