Hollywood tough guy Bruce Willis was turned away from a trendy New York nightclub last week – because doormen didn’t recognise him.
The Die Hard star showed up at top nightspot Socialista at around 3am on Wednesday (19Sep07) with an entourage of eight, hoping to be let in as a VIP. But a source tells U.S. gossip column PageSix.com that not only was he denied entry – bouncers let in others who arrived after him.
The source adds, “Bruce’s entourage started banging on the door, to no avail. I guess they had reached their massive-ego quota.”
