Britney Spears’ Friends Want Her To Join Lindsay Lohan
New reports are claiming Britney Spears’ family and friends are desperate for her to join party girl Lindsay Lohan in rehab.
The troubled singer, who has been ordered to take regular drug tests by a judge overseeing her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline for their two young boys, has reportedly continued her partying ways and friends are asking her to get help at Utah’s Cirque Lodge rehabilitation facility.
A source revealed to Life and Style magazine; “If Britney finally acknowledges that she must face her addictions, then that’s the best place. It’s working for Lindsay, and hopefully Britney will see that as inspiration.”
The insider also claims Lynne, Britney’s mother, received an anonymous phone call tipping her off about the pop stars drug use.
The source said; “It was one of Britney’s friends saying he’d seen Britney take four Ecstasy pills in the bedroom of a Hollywood Hills home during a party on August 11.
Lynne was also told that Britney has done the drug more recently, and she’s taken Ativan, an anti-anxiety medication, to help her come down because the Ecstasy was so intense. Lynne put down the phone and froze.”
Meanwhile, Britney is said to be using an asthma inhaler in order for her to lose some extra weight.
She is allegedly using the puffing of the medical aid, in which she doesn’t need because she doesn’t suffer from asthma, to suppress her appetite.
A source revealed to Us Weekly magazine; “Britney doesn’t have asthma. She’s using the chemical epinephrine, found in asthma medications, as an appetite suppressant.”
Friends of the pop singer are said to be very worried about her reported use of the inhalers because former cover girl Krissy Taylor died from a similar weight loss method.
