More dope on Pete Doherty’s recent drug arrest
The dust had barely settled after his set with Babyshambles at the V Festival in Stafford, but Pete Doherty soon had bigger fish to fry.
It’s not like he hasn’t tried to ditch the drugs — he’s has even undergone a stomach implant to help him kick the habit.
According to police sources, Pete has been arrested — again — for suspected drug possession.
He was arrested in the Tower Hamlets area of east London at about 2 am.
He’s being held at an East London police station after the car he was travelling in was stopped by police.
A Scotland Yard spokesman did not name Doherty but said, “A 28-year-old man was arrested in east London on suspicion of possession of drugs.
He is in custody at an east London police station.”
