Pete Doherty on being Kate Moss’s man
Dating an A-lister has certain advantages. But for Pete Doherty, it’s been damaging to his pride.
As the lead singer of Babyshambles, Pete is a celeb in his own right. But ever since dating Moss, he’s now more often referred to as Kate’s other half.
Pete recently revealed, “A lot of the time people just say, ‘Oh, look, there’s Kate Moss’s boyfriend’. It’s hurtful to my pride. It’s never, ‘Oh, look, there’s that really talented lyricist’.” Poor old Pete.
Meanwhile, Pete and Kate’s relationship has taken another bizarre turn, as the model is now refusing to talk to him.
After another blazing row, Pete reportedly hooked up with a young brunette girl. They were seen leaving a nightclub together before heading to a friend’s home where they both spent the night.
And with Kate now fuming, Pete has tried to make it up to her. The Sun claims he turned up at her house on Sunday with what looked like a picture of Kate and her cat, with a message — “No place like home”.
But Kate would not let Pete in, so he smashed the picture frame and stormed off, onlookers say.
