Paris to get 1 million dollars for post-prison interview
NBC has agreed to pay as much as $1 million (approx Rs 4 crore) for Paris Hilton’s first post-jail interview, which will appear on The Today Show. Sources reveal the interview will be conducted the day after Hilton is released from jail.
Normally, Matt Lauer conducts high-profile interviews (his interview with Prince William and Prince Harry aired this week), but because of “disparaging” remarks he’s made about her, co-host Meredith Vieira will step in.
Meanwhile, Paris has found a new activity to fill her prison time. She has started writing letters to fans. Writing on plain paper, Paris tries to add some fun and sparkle to her letters by covering them in hearts and on each one she signs her name with kisses.
Her mum, Kathy, says Paris is keeping herself occupied by writing to fans and she spends her other time “just staring at the walls”.
